Botanical Garden Visitor centre

The proposed landscape concept for the Botanical Gardens Visitor Centre is laid out in such a way that the intended relationships between the new building and Cunningham House are strengthened. The new path layout connects to the existing circulation structure and helps to create a number of important junction points providing views of the proposed building, connections to the River Avon, and pedestrian route choices. Overall the layout, material and planting palettes are kept simple in order to provide an uncluttered field within which the building takes visual prominence.
