Upland Road Planting Plan

The original scheme, proposed by Brett Scheideman in 1996, laid the foundation for a very attractive fusion of native and exotic species. This appealing landscape demonstrates the fertile collaboration between designer and the clients, Gus and Irene Fisher. Like all gardens however, over time, certain plants gradually fail or become invasive.

The proposed Field_LA 2013 strategy aims to address these issues and restore the woodland garden. The proposition involves a range of suggestions and a plan comprised of a somewhat simplified and therefore manageable palette of species. In keeping with Brett and the Fishers vision we have utilised a blend of natives and exotics.
